It was goals galore at Huish Park on Saturday, as Yeovil put six (SIX) past Boston United, which you can read more about here – let’s see how the rest of the division got on though…

Let’s start with Yeovil’s next opponents, Wealdstone. They travelled to Barrow, leaving empty-handed in a 2-1 defeat. The hosts took the lead 23 minutes in thanks to Rekeem Harper, before Wealdstone equalised three minutes later via Ronan Maher. In the 58th minute, Dylan Kadji received his marching orders for a second bookable offence, leaving the Stones with 30 minutes of pain. Barrow continued to bang on the door, and even missed a penalty, but they got their winner in the 94th minute as Keaton Ward nodded home to break Wealdstone’s hearts.

Two games involving top-end clubs had plenty of goals, with Boreham Wood continuing their amazing start with a win over Altrincham; ex-Yeovil man Ben Whitfield scored yet again as the Wood came from a goal down to end Altrincham’s fantastic run of form. The other game saw Southend beat Fylde at Roots Hall, with the visitors benefiting from a bizarre Ben Goodliffe own goal. The defender later made amends for his error with a goal in the correct net.

A Liam Dulson double helped Woking come from a goal behind at Eastleigh to take the three points, while a David Ajiboye brace secured six points from six on the road for Carlisle, as they beat Aldershot. Harrogate continued their impressive return to the National League with a big win over Hornchurch; the win could’ve been even bigger had Brad Dolaghan converted his penalty…

It was the end of the line for Lee Cattermole, as Gateshead were defeated once again, showing fight in a home defeat to Worthing, with an Alex Lankshear own goal undoing the Heed’s hard work. Two goals in five second half minutes gave Halifax a win against their former manager Chris Millington’s Solihull Moors side, while a late equaliser from Omar Mussa forced Kidderminster to share the points with Sutton.

Pete Wild’s first game as Hartlepool boss ended in defeat at home to Tamworth, as Kieren Donnelly scored yet again for the Lambs. Jack Nolan also had a penalty saved for the hosts, as their winless run continues. The final game was supposed to see Scunthorpe hosting Forest Green, but the game was postponed at Forest Green’s request due to international call-ups depleting their sizeable squad.
